剧中一天，人间一年。经历了八个24小时的轮回，杰克小强干掉了无数恐怖分子，《24小时》这部剧集也终于走到了尽头。这部剧集为饰演杰克小强女儿的明星Elisha Cuthbert开启了戏剧前程，在奥巴马之前就选了个黑人美国总统，让杰克·鲍尔成了一个家喻户晓的名字。目前《24小时》的电影版正在商谈中，另外NBC签了一部跟《24小时》的模式类似的美剧，将于今年10月开播。

One of the most successful television series is now officially signing off on television. The 24 finale however also opens the future and onward looking for 24 movie early next year. The success of the TV series after eight seasons, 192 episodes and countless terrorists foiled is just too much to resist for the big screen.

Kiefer Sutherland and his character Jack Bauer has finally lost the battle and ran out of time. Last Monday, Bauer bids farewell to all the fans as the show wraps up for its last shot, the 24 Finale.

In the 24 Finale Jack asked his friend O’Brian to shoot him in the chest, he also came very close to assassinating the Russian president and well had a taste of being somewhat a traitor.

As usual Jack Bauer became successful in this last ordeal but it was one bloody 24 Season finale, well of course we are expecting tat anyway. Bauer manages to convince US President Allison Taylor to scrap the fraudulent peace deal that they made in the Middle East.

He could have died in this episode if not for the over talkative and dramatic executioner of Bauer which surely missed the chance to kill the phenomenal superhero.

As 24 finally ends it will always be remembers as the series which launched the career of Elisha Cuthbert, and made it possible to have a black president even before Barack Obama was elected. The most important of them all would be making Jack Bauer a household name known by many.

Don’t worry however because there is a planned 24 movie which are now under negotiation. The movie may promise us some exciting storyline which had not been possible in the series.

If there is one thing to be retained in the show that would be its story timeline which lasts 24 hours. The final season, Season 8 begins and ends at 4:00 PM in New York City.

Also, to add up to the 24 movie phenomenon it was also revealed that beside the movie NBC had also gained the rights to a new 24 formated series. However, NBC says that this will be composed of an entirely new cast and they are saving the spoilers until the 24 finale was done.

The new 24 formated series had been given its first 13 episodes which will begin airing in October 2010.
