1. relative n. 亲戚，亲属

These are my family and relatives.这些是我的家人和亲戚。
Alice has got a lot of presents and birthday cards from her family and relatives.爱丽丝从她的家人和亲戚那里得到许多礼物和生日卡片。

2. family tree n. 家谱

A family tree shows our family members and relatives.家谱表明我们的家庭成员和亲戚。

3. granddaughter n. 孙女，外孙女

Language focus:

1. These are my family and relatives. 这些是我的家人和亲戚。
This is my grandfather.这是我的祖父。
注意指示代词this和these表示近指；单数人和物用this，复数人和物用these；指示代词that和those表示远指，单数人和物用that，复数人和物用those。

2. Happy birthday! 生日快乐！
这时表示祝贺他人生日快乐时的常用语。如要表示针对特定某人的祝福，可以说：Happy birthday to Alice！其他常见的祝福还有：Happy Mothers’ Day! Happy Teachers’ Day!
